Unpalatable
◊ I knitted a hat.
The thrill of accomplishment wore off pretty fast when I realized that the hat is butt-ugly � even uglier than it was meant to be. It is done in a very 1970s palette of colors that I would describe as chocolate, cream and butterscotch because I tend to think of everything in terms of dessert. If I saw it at a thrift store I'd probably make a face and say "They want two bucks for this? Jesus." Then I'd admire the ugly lamps and go digging through the giant clock radios and motorized tie racks, looking for something quirky.
I'm gonna wear it every day.
