◊ The predictive text function on my cell phone works like this: I enter a few letters and it guesses at what word I'm typing and fills in the rest of the word so I don't have to. Its vocabulary, which large, is not all-encompassing. It recognizes the word "Nuremburg" but not "turtle" or "muse."
